Like a husband saying to his wife “of course I got you a present for our anniversary, honey”, as he races to Wal-mart to pick up something nice, Microsoft says once again that they have no plans to change their previously announced ship date of Vista. As of right now, they’re still trying to get the OEM version out to manufacturers by November and out on store shelves by January.
You can look for the Release Candidate 1 release sometime in September, which actually won’t be a real RC, since Microsoft won’t finalize Windows Vista until October.

Guys — if you forget to buy your wife an anniversary gift, don’t race to WAL-MART to pick up something. You’ll be in for a collossal ass-whooping, FO’ SHO’!
