I have to ask this question in a comment. Will someone please explain to me the iconography of CrunchGear? What is that blue thing? Is it a hat with arms, with some Cyclopsian eye? It obviously contains the necessary Web 2.0 “elements of style,” but I really want to know what that is.

It used to just be a blue hat-like thing, but then I put an eye on it and it became a character. I figured CrunchGear readers might get weary of seeing it every day, so there will be some other ways of tying things together visually in the future.
