This is totally stupid, but I hope that when the software syncs with the Zune, that there’s a flag somewhere that tells it the color (white, black, brown) of the unit, and skins the Marketplace app to match.
Well you can’t complain about major labels just yet, wait untill they release it, I don’t think a company as big as Microsoft won’t be able to get big label support…
Microsoft will have absolutely no problems getting major labels; they already have them at their MSN Music Store (music.msn.com), so the Zune Marketplace (or whatever its called) will definitely have them.
Perhaps whoever designed the GUI for the zune software actually has good taste in music and decided to show that off in the promo shots they made. I for one think if the Zune marketplace only sold the type of music they show in the shot I would ditch both my ipods and jump on this. It’s hard to get good indie music on iTunes MS. Some of it’s there, but a lot they don’t even carry.

when you rip a real cd(not burned) using the software does the cd get album art for your zune

The Zune marketplace does have all the music you see on the cover. Have you explored the site at all?
The only one problem with the marketplace is they want to much money to download songs that dont even last more then their experation date. (whatever that is) I have discovered the best alternitive to this problem is to get all my content from other Zune downloads online. Here is a site that I see allot of that has great place to get your downloads from. I like to call it the new Zune marketplace. http://watch-dogreviews.com/zunedownloads.html

I guess it took a copy of iTunes with different colors for Microsoft to create nice looking software.
