Microsoft Xbox 360 Bundle Selling for $259 In Japan

Microsoft has put together an Xbox 360 Blue Dragon bundle that features a Blue Dragon faceplate, action figures and the actual games, which is three DVDs long. The bundle is selling like crazy in Japan (Blue Dragon is only available in Japan), for an ultra-cheap $259. So far, the Japanese market hasn’t taken to the Xbox 360 too fondly, so this seems to be a good strategic move by Microsoft to get the gamers to buy the console. As for the rest of us here in North America, Microsoft says that we’ll get Blue Dragon at some point, though, I doubt we’ll see the bundle or the low price.

Hmm trying to price out that ticket to Japan to see if this works. …. Nope!
Now if we in the US could some how come up with a plot to get everyone to STOP buying Xbox’s, maybe they’ll lower the price for us too? ….it could happen
