Nintendo Wii Goes Old School

If you’re sick of every electronic device you own being white, take a look at this new original NES skin for Nintendo Wii. The NES skin covers both sides of the Wii, provides a scratch-resistant glossy finish and won’t leave any nasty marks when removed. Seeing as how the front panel reads “Revolution,” someone at Decal Girl is a lot like the rest of us, and prefers the original title for the new Nintendo system, rather than the final choice.
Still, the skin looks pretty damn good, and only sets you back $15. To really give you that old school NES feel, you can also get matching skins for the nunchuck and Wiimote for $5. Hit the jump for actual images of all the skins.

So very retro-cool. However, I think the decals on the controller are totally unnecessary and look quite stupid. O’ Revolution Entertainment System (RES) or is it Wii Entertainment System (WiiES)

The controller does seem a bit too much - but the console is is top notch. I may just have to order this and apply it to the Wii I got for my husband for x-mas.

Ahhh!! Made me feel like digging the old Nintendo out of storage, blowing the dust off the inside of the Golden Zelda cartridge, hearing the nice spring action of locking the cartridge in place and reminiscing of when I was a young “Link”. I do agree with you Sydney the controller skins do look rather lame.

Ah, sweet.
Adam, I think you missed a couple of steps… Somewhere between “hearing the nice spring action of locking the cartridge in place” and “reminiscing of when I was a young “Link””
Should be:
“hearing the nice spring action of locking the cartridge in place”
Then:
“press power”
“watch spring flicker”
“repeat”

sweet, that looks muuch better. the controllers look cheap as hell though.
adam, ‘…digging the old Nintendo out of storage…’ tell me it isn’t so :( mine is ’stored’ right behind the glass panel, front and center in the entertainment center :)
