Blackjack Now Shipping with Extended Battery?

We just received a tip that Samsung Blackjack’s are now shipping with both a regular battery and an extended battery. I sent an email to Samsung PR and they were unable to confirm this, but according to our tipster he ordered two Blackjacks from Cingular and both of them had one extended battery included with it.
Has anyone else had this experience?
(Thanks Zack!)

There’s a thread that I started over on howardforums. Here’s the link:

I ordered via Cingular Premier and was surprised when I opened the box that it included the extended battery.

I didn’t have that experience. I had the one where I ordered it and it came with the two slim batteries, which I blew through in a day and purchased the extended battery and door. And then, I sent the BlackJack back to Cingular because it’s almost unusable from a consumer standpoint, but an impossible device for business. What a joke.

My Blackjack phone just arrived a few days ago and it came with the extra extended battery.
I am very happy with the phone and Cingular. Much better than the Verizon Treo I had previously. Better phone, better coverage in my area. Works inside my office and other buildings where the Treo did not. Nice not having to use a stylus. The smaller screen isn’t an issue for me. I use it for business and sync my email and calendar thru Outlook. No complaints whatsoever. I haven only had it a few days but it is easily the best overall smartphone I have owned to date.

Yes, they come with two batteries. I have not used the small battery yet and been running with the extended all day, and it has lasted all day. I use the blackjack for everything. I burn through 2000 minutes a month, she works beautifully. I only wish I was in a 3G area, but on the Edge she still flies. I would highly recommend getting her. I also have the SYNC (a707) as well.

If you purchased a BlackJack before they started to ship the extended battery you can still get one FREE!! I did a little research and found this website to get a free extended battery from cingular.

It’s a good thing I’ve invested in an universal portable power bank that is compatible with major brands of mobile devices- see
http://xpalpower.spaces.live.com.
However, I’m not sure if it could suport blackjack. Can someone advise how its charging connection’s tip looks like?
