What? There are already at least four HD-DVD porn titles available: Jack’s Teen America 3, Island Fever 3, Island Fever 4, and Pirates, all from Digital Playground (the producer mentioned in the article you linked to).
I’d give you the link, but, well… it’s just a bit NSFW.

it’s about time, again, someone is taking a stand and making conscious decisions of the material they reproduce. What’s wrong with moral decision making and trying to make a difference!
Awwwww, lookit all those widdle fundy Kwistians who’ll be able to get their Veggie-Tales fix via Blue-Ray…aren’t they so KYOOOOT?!?
Meanwhile, those of us who actually believe the Universe is older than 6000 years will be watching “Southpark: The Archivist Collection Edition” on one, single HD-DVD disc.
props to Jason… although it never is nice to have someone’s beliefs forced on others, it is nice when people have morals these days. Don’t complain about morals too much while it only is a very slight inconvenience for you people who have none. If you really need your porn fix you know where to get it.
Since this will in the end have a significant effect on the media format war’s
outcome it has given potential Blu-ray adopters a reason to pause. I’m
beginning to wonder if Sony doesn’t have a secret document in their corporate
archives titled
How to Fail (Against All Odds) When Success is Firmly in Our Grasp.
Well whether or not if we need Hi def porn is not the relevant subject here. Is Sony going to deny the largest production company for adult entertainment to put their subject material on their media. If sony does this, then sad to say, but it could sound the death knell to the blu ray format just like with the laser disc that was mentioned earlier.

I get heart palpitations whenever I read of a pompous executive instilling his morals into the company. Disgusting. Bleh.

I guess I really skirted (haha!) the real topic: I ask you, readers, do we NEED Hi-Def porn?
Discuss.
