Genesound Lets You Rip LPs to MP3

Have a stack of LPs laying around your pad that you wish you could upload to your PMP? Well, you’re in luck then. At least if you’re in Japan.

Seagrand is launching the Genesound in Japan at the end of this month, which lets you rip all your LPs from a turntable onto a CD, USB key or an SD card, in MP3 format. No word on pricing just yet, but I’m sure it will be worth it for those with stacks of LPs lying around. Let’s hope it replicates those Led Zeppelin LPs in all their rock-and-roll glory.
