Meizu MiniOne Gets Priced

Meizu’s CEO, Mr. Wong, has graced us with details on the miniOne. If you’ve missed previous coverage of this iPhone clone then you haven’t missed too much because everything else has been speculative until now. The UI is strikingly similar, if not, identical to that of the iPhone. Two versions will be released, one with a camera and one without. The entry-level and standard versions will be released in both 4GB and 8GB models. Pricing will be approximately $195 for the 4GB model without camera and the 8GB version will be roughly $285. The standard version with camera will be $310 for the 4GB and the 8GB will be $400. All other features have remained unchanged from earlier reports. Coverage of this phone is officially OVER.

Hopefully they sell this phone in the US. Thats much better pricing than other touch screen phones.

Terrific value and premium specifications, I would imagine they could be free with contract also.

since in mexico you can add up any phone to a plan given this is 3g and gsm, i am sooo gonna get one, well, it actually depends in the zune phone launch.. but it will be either this or the zune phone.

bad news
i saw a wabsite saying the by the time this “phone” will reach the us it will only be a mp3 player. i dont know why but when it gets to U.S, it will only be a over-priced mp3 player

Bad design? That thing looks great! And an iPhone clone! That is just an assumption. It’s like saying that the Vista Sidebar is a clone of Widgets, while that has been in the drawing board long before OSX! Same here, the MiniOne was announced long before the iPhone, but postponed it the redesign the phone to be more powerful by comparison!
