We’re about three months away from the launch of the iPhone and Apple is already well on its way to annoying the hell out of us with it. Apple plastered its Fifth Avenue store (you know, that dumb cube) in New York yesterday with a gigantic picture of the iPhone with the words “Introducing iPhone. Apple reinvents the phone.” (Apparently it disappeared later in the day.) Soon we’ll see Apple sky writers write “iPhone: Conform or die” in the skies above America.

dumb cube? If it is one thing we have to give apple is that their industrial design team are geniuses…. and that has translated into thier retail store designs.

It hardly took a genius to create the cube but it isn’t dumb either…on the other hand, the giant hand at ground level is vaguely “conform or die” threatening.

Who’d expect Apple to advertise their iPhone in their namesake (not really) super apple store?
I’ll chuckle when I see a video of it in that Second Life ridiculousness.

‘dumb cube’ SNAP! That’s what I call journalism. Personally I’d enjoy the hell out of annoying you.
