Well, it’s official. The Motorola RIZR, the company’s diminutive RAZR-alike, is out on T-Mobile and it’s pretty cool. I’ve been using it for the past week and I’m pleased to say it’s quite a phone with a very solid fit and finish, great styling, and lots of strong features. I’ve been down on Motorola lately because of all the KRAZRAZRFAZR junk, but this one I could get used to.

The RIZR is a welcome improvement to the standard Motorola UI with a number of strong apps — including an IM client that actually works — and My Faves support. The phone will cost $99 with a 2-year contract and should hit retail today and be fully rolled out by CTIA next week.
One of the major improvements is in the 2-megapixel camera which takes nice snaps with our without flash. The phone is quad-band GSM with a microSD slot under the back battery cover for music and pictures. It also supports stereo Bluetooth headsets and USB 2.0.

Very nice. Although I think you had another audio problem John… was that Mr. Mathers that I heard in the background ;-)
Will a full video review come out? and when?
