As far as music phones go, I believe Sony Ericsson was and still is the only mobile phone manufacturer to get it done right. The Walkman-series phones are always beautifully designed, feature rich, and have great music playback capability. But now all that is history. Why? Look at that phone above. That is supposedly the rumored Sony Ericsson W999i Walkman phone. It looks absolutely stunning and I’m sure the specs that come with it are equally amazing.
Word is that the phone will come with HSDPA, a 2.4-inch 262k color screen, the standard 2-megapixel camera, FM Radio, and the device is said to be only 12.5-milimeters thick. The photo also appears to show Sony-Ericsson’s new QWERTY pad. No release date yet, but this is definitely something to get giddy about if you’re not an iPhone kind-of guy or gal.
