Where’s My Jetpack?

We know that most of you don’t read anything but CrunchGear, but there is a book currently making the rounds that is of considerable interest to gear heads. Where’s My Jetpack? looks at many of the amazing bits of invention that have been promised to us over the years but never arrived.
Author Daniel Wilson is a Ph.D. roboticist, so he probably knows what he’s talking about (at least as much as us anyway). I’m going to pickup a copy soon, as soon as I finish reading Everyman by Philip Roth.

Better question is where is my hover car and my own house on the moon… we already have wireless electricity, internet and phone - I figure these two are the next on the worlds priority list ;-)
