Kaiser One Goose-Step Closer to AT&T

That hot, hot Kaiser we told you about has cleared FCC muster, meaning it could be hitting the shelves of your local AT&T any time. For those in need of a refresher, the Kaiser is the latest rendition of HTC’s Slidy-McQWERTY line of Windows Mobile smartphones. With 3G, Wi-Fi, and a large touch-screen, its ancestors include the AT&T 8125 and the 8525.
The standard Kaiser has a 3-Megapixel camera, though HTC added two variants: one sans camera altogether, and another with a secondary forward-facing camera. We expect those two to hit AT&T very soon. And read this carefully: If the Kaiser doesn’t hit AT&T by the end of the year, I’ll eat my hat. It should be noted, though, that my hat is made of cake. It is a cake hat.

Okay…i’m excited about this all over again… anyone want to point out what this phone is lacking because I honestly can’t remember and I know someone pointed it out…. was it UMA? Low display resolution? Either way, it seems to have most everything I want. Expect to see pics of me and this phone on the CG facebook page once this is available! wOOt!

Hi,
Just to let you guys know you are spot on. Our release date for the Tilt is slated for September 2nd-September 3rd, but is on our Orders sheets already meaning that many COR and agent locations could have it as soon as August 21st.
Other than that we have not been given any real factual information, just speculation. We have only been given one model, which means to my knowledge there will be no model without camera.
Thanks!!
