The guy over at iwantapinkzune.com isn’t an official source however this dude seems to be pretty sure that the Zune 2 will be out on October 16th. Obviously, bloggers are the most credible people on the internet so we are now fully expectant of a release on said date.
Unfortunately for Microsoft no one will really care about any releases on the 16th what with everyone being out spending their paycheck on copies of Transformers.
The last “When will Zune 2 be released?” guide you will ever need… until the next one

Wow, you guys over here are real haters…lol
Ive never owned a zune, but have played around with it in bestbuy. From those quick play sessions, Ive always thought the Zune was a decent device, nice size screen. figured it gets bashed so much cause it didn’t “take over the world” and its fun to bash Microsoft when a product doesn’t monopolize the industry.
I do think it is waaaay underrated. $199 is a good buy except that you know a new one is right around the corner
You are correct, no one cares about MS releases. Especially the 1.4 million or however many zune owners there are.
I bet you guys don’t care either, even though you take the time to write stories about the Zune 2.
To tell you the truth, the only reason that you would be writing these stories is if you are worried about MS having better offerings then the new Ipod’s, just like they did with the last zune.
No one cares what the biggest technology company in the world is about to release.
Ok now this is just annoying.. Ilya I have no idea who you are, but I’ve just unsubscribed.
Oh, don’t get me wrong I dislike Apple too. Hating on stuff is fun. Transformers is more important. Did I do anything wrong?
You fail at being objective.
Just halluzinations, trust me.
I think I with some certainty can say IWAPZ.com was sarcastically suggestion that people should just stop speculating and wait for something official.
Ilya, maybe this post was a joke and not intended specifically at MS. I think people (myself included) got angry at the post because it sounds like a typical Engadget writer/Apple fanboy.
